Why it matters

Why the install matters as much as the kit.

On a remote renewable site, an install that is ninety per cent finished is an install that fails. A mislabelled cable or an untested failover path turns into a day-long site visit months later, often in the worst weather of the year.

Because we design, build and commission connectivity for wind, solar and BESS sites every week, the details are handled first time — bonding and surge protection for exposed masts, tidy IP schemes, and a documented handover — so your O&M team inherits something they can actually run.

Questions

Installation — your questions answered.

What does an RCG installation include?
We handle the whole job: engineered design, equipment schedules, mast and cabinet build, structured cabling, then commissioning and testing. You receive as-built drawings, IP schemes and credentials at handover, so the system is fully documented and yours to run.
Can you install on live, energised sites?
Yes. We work regularly on energised wind, solar and BESS sites. Every visit runs to RAMS and method statements, with inductions and coordination so installation happens safely around live generation and high-voltage plant.
Do you handle the survey and design too?
Yes. Most installs begin with a site and RF survey so the design is based on real coverage, power and line-of-sight. If you would like that step first, our audits and surveys service produces the costed design we then build to.
Will everything be tested before you leave site?
Yes. Nothing is signed off until it is proven. We test every link, camera and device for power, connectivity and throughput on site, and only hand over once the whole system passes.
Can you take on ongoing support after the install?
Yes. Installations roll straight into our managed service if you want ongoing monitoring and support, so the same team that built the site keeps it running.
