Connectivity · Multi-site

Every site, one secure network.

SD-WAN turns a patchwork of satellite, cellular and fibre links into one intelligent, encrypted network — steering traffic to the best path and connecting your whole portfolio back to head office privately.

What's included

Intelligent, secure, centrally managed.

Application-aware steering

Critical traffic takes the best available path; less important traffic uses the rest.

Encrypted VPN

Every site-to-site link is encrypted end to end across whatever bearer it rides.

Built-in failover

Tunnels re-form instantly over a backup bearer if a primary link fails.

Portfolio-wide network

All sites appear on one private network, reachable and manageable centrally.

Central visibility

One dashboard for the health, throughput and security of every link.

Zero-touch rollout

New sites are pre-provisioned centrally and come online the moment they connect.

Why it matters

One network is easier to run — and easier to secure.

A portfolio stitched together by hand is a portfolio no one can see. Separate links, separate logins and separate IP schemes turn every fault into a site visit and every change into a risk. SD-WAN replaces that with a single overlay you manage centrally.

It tightens security at the same time. Traffic between sites never crosses the public internet in the clear, OT can be segmented from business systems, and new sites inherit your policy the moment they connect — no per-site firewall left half-configured.

Questions

SD-WAN & VPN — your questions answered.

What is SD-WAN and how does it help remote renewable sites?
SD-WAN is an intelligent overlay that ties every site together over whatever connections are available. For unmanned wind, solar and BESS sites it means SCADA, CCTV and business traffic each take the best path automatically, and the whole portfolio is reachable and manageable from one place.
Can SD-WAN work over satellite and 4G/5G, not just fibre?
Yes. SD-WAN is bearer-agnostic, so it runs across satellite, 4G/5G and fibre in any mix. It continuously measures each link and steers traffic to the healthiest path, which is ideal for remote sites where fibre never reached.
Does the VPN encrypt traffic between sites?
Yes. Every site-to-site link is carried inside an encrypted tunnel, so OT and business traffic stays private end to end no matter which underlying bearer it rides. This keeps SCADA and control data segmented from the public internet.
Can you add SD-WAN to sites we already have connectivity at?
Yes. We can layer SD-WAN onto sites that already have connectivity, whether that is our own service or a third party's. Existing links become part of the overlay, so you gain central control and failover without ripping anything out. Pairing it with backup failover connectivity adds a second bearer for resilience.
How does failover work if a site's primary link drops?
Each site can hold more than one connection live at once. If the primary link degrades or drops, the tunnel re-forms over a backup bearer in seconds, so sessions stay up and remote access to the site is not lost.
